November can be such a beautiful time of the year and this one seems to be exceptional! It’s a great time to get all of your landscape chores completed that you put off last month so you could attend the ballgames and the fall festivals. It’s not too late! They are still waiting. You can still prune if you haven’t already done so. Just remember, do not prune back severely. Also, you should re-apply your mulch around the base of your plants to keep their feet warm and maintain a reasonable moisture level throughout the winter months. Hopefully, you have not fertilized. This should be put off until next spring. Plants do not take-up food very well during the dormant season. An exception to this rule would be herbaceous plants such as Cabbage, Kale, and Pansies etc.
We have brought in some of the most beautiful trees that we have ever offered. Not only do many of them have vibrant fall colors, we have varieties that also plume in the winter. What a treat! This is also an ideal time to plant just about anything, as well as, transplant items that you have been waiting to relocate.
Are your Camellia Sasanquas blooming? Well, ours are! You should see all the colorful flowers that are now showing! We are loaded with outstanding fall and winter color items everywhere you look.
